Sometimes, the computer could not boot up after we install an update from Microsoft. We cannot remember which update is installed latest. How can we boot up the computer?
First, we can restart the computer and press F8 to boot the computer in Safe Mode. Then, use this method to determine the latest update and remove it:
1. In Safe Mode or Normal Mode, click Start - Run, type in appwiz.cpl and click OK.
2. Click to select the Show Updates check box.
3. On the right side of “Show Updates”, select “Sort by: Date Last Used” on the drop down menu.4. Find the update which was latest installed on the list according to the date.
5. Click this update and then click Remove.
6. Restart your computer.However, if you still could not determine the latest update, we can restore the system even in Safe Mode. Please refer to this article:
