Problem: The Recycle Bin on the desktop shows that something is inside. When trying to empty it, it states “Are you sure you want to delete windows”. However, nothing shows up when we open the Recycle Bin.

Method 1: Run a fix

Method 2: Restore Default

1. Right-click an empty area of your desktop
2. Select Properties
3. Click the Desktop tab
4. Click the Customize button
5. Click Restore Default
6. Exit all windows and restart your computer
